The Department of ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 60 students. Our mission is to impart technical knowledge and skills to the students to become technically sound, practical and self sufficient Electrical Engineers. Apart from making them good technocrats, we also provide individual attention to make them good citizens of our nation to serve the society. The department functions with efficient faculty and well equipped lab facilities.
It has conducted many technical symposium and workshops. The teaching and research activities are supported by a team of Dean, Professor, Assistant Professor and Lecturers who were well qualified and experienced in their field of study. Our Department has well established state-of-art laboratories to inculcate practical knowledge to the students and it is well structured and built with spacious, ventilated class rooms.

A graduate of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program will:
PEO:1. Apply their broad knowledge acquired in Mathematics, Basic Sciences and Electrical and Electronics Engineering courses, to the solution of complex problems encountered in the modern Engineering practice.
PEO:2. Exhibit professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach and will relate engineering issues to broader social context.
PEO:3. Display an ability to learn and adapt them to the constantly evolving technology by pursuing higher studies.

PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5: Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
PO6: The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
